Campus Crime Prevention Resource Center
IACLEA has created this web page as a resource on campus crime prevention information for parents, college students, and prospective students. IACLEA’s Crime Prevention Committee developed this page to give parents and students information about crime prevention, personal safety, and links to other resources. Crime prevention is defined as “the anticipation, the recognition, and the appraisal of a crime risk and the initiation of action to remove or reduce it.” Crime prevention is a proactive strategy designed to eliminate or minimize criminal opportunities before a crime actually occurs. We welcome your comments and suggestions regarding this resource. Please email cblake@iaclea.org
This page was developed by IACLEA's Crime Prevention Committee. - Lee Struble, Chair
