IACLEA New Corporate Partnership Program Logo Announced

West Hartford, CT March 20, 2013

The International Association of Campus Law Enforcement Administrators (IACLEA) is pleased to announce the design of a new Corporate Partnership Program logo. The new emblem, used to identify companies that have invested in IACLEA, is consistent with the Association's logo, which was updated in 2012, yet it is distinctive to recognize the Corporate Partners' unique commitment. The logo was endorsed by the Corporate Partner Advisory Committee and approved by IACLEA's leadership.

IACLEA established the Corporate Partnership Program to support the implementation of the Association's strategic initiatives, to further its educational mission, and to enhance the ability of campus public safety agencies to protect institutions of higher education.

IACLEA President Anne Glavin, approved the new design, stating, "We are excited about implementing improvements to the Corporate Partnership Program, inviting the Partners to become more engaged with the association and our mission and initiatives. This new image will not only help to refresh the program, but will also aid in its branding and marketing."

This year Corporate Partners have been invited to assist board and committee chairs in implementing major initiatives. The projects are related to such topics as Communications, Behavior Health and International Relations, and Distance Learning. Corporate Partners may be investing with their professional resources and content, as well as, financially.

The Corporate Partner Advisory Committee was created in 2012 by President Glavin, Chief of Police/Director of Police Services at California State University - Northridge. The Corporate Partner Advisory Committee operates under the following directives: " Provide feedback to the Association; " Suggest new marketing strategies, communication/technology enhancements; " Assist with implementing changes to the program, as approved by the Board of Directors; " Advise on content expertise and funding for the Association's strategic objectives and projects

The Committee members support the new logo design because it incorporates the same shape, fonts, and color scheme as the Association's logo. The original "hand shake" in the center of the circle was maintained, retaining the symbolic image of partnership. Finally, the reversal of the colors distinguishes the two logos, while keeping them consistent and compatible.

Glenn Rosenberg, of AlliedBarton Security Services, Chair of the Corporate Partner Advisory Committee, remarked, "This change is in keeping with the Association's branding initiative undertaken by the Board of Directors last year. It reinforces the close working relationship between the Corporate Partners and the Association including support for the major projects and initiatives of the Board."

IACLEA encourages our members to support Corporate Partners by inviting them to bid on projects or purchases involving campus public safety equipment, hardware, software, and consulting assistance. The IACLEA Corporate Partner Marketplace is a one-stop source for a wide variety of campus public safety products and services. The Marketplace is exclusively for IACLEA's Corporate Partners.
