On March 8, 2017, IACLEA will be back on the Hill advancing the public policy agenda for campus public safety. We welcome all campus-based members to attend this one day advocacy event.
The overall goal of the Association’s Government Relations program is to build and foster strong and lasting relationships with relevant federal agencies and Congress in order to advance the campus public safety profession and promote policies to enhance its ability to protect our higher educational critical infrastructure, research facilities, students, faculty, staff and visitors.
Help IACLEA advance the public policy agenda for campus public safety! We welcome all campus-based members to attend this one day informational and advocacy event. Capitol Hill Day will begin with an overview of our legislative goals, information on how best to present the issues, and materials to hand out to key Congressional staffers. A webinar briefing is also planned for March in advance of Hill Day (information to follow). In addition, a presentation will be made for the 2017 Congressional Champion Award.
Following registration, closer to the day of the event, you will receive information on how to make appointments with your Members of Congress. For more information, please contact IACLEA’s Director of Government Relations Tom Netting, at firstname.lastname@example.org.
