Annual Conference & Meetings
Atlanta, GA
The 2006 Member Needs Assessment Survey identified additional training as a need to be addressed. IACLEA's Board of Directors recognized that this need could not be fully addressed in the training delivered at the Annual Conferences, so it identified the implementation of a Mid-Year Conference as one of its 2008-2009 Strategies to support Strategic Goal A: IACLEA will be its members' indispensable resource for standards, services, and professional development.
The Mid-Year Conference programming is geared toward mid- and senior-level management staff. The program will include:
- Accreditation Manager Training
- Management/ Leadership Training
- Executive Development
Facilitators will include (among others):
- Dr. James Reese, retired FBI and Leadership Instructor (keynote speaker and session facilitator)
- Gordon Graham (motivational speaker)
- Steven Healy (session facilitator)
The first Mid-Year Conference will be held February 28-March 1, 2009, at the Georgia Tech Hotel & Conference Center in Atlanta, GA.
