  1. Annual Conference and Exhibition
    The conference focuses on your training needs by providing informative workshop sessions on topics selected by the IACLEA membership. The conference also brings members together to establish priorities for the coming year in each of the committee areas. The IACLEA exhibition is a showcase for law enforcement products and services. For help in selecting equipment and preparing budgets, members look forward to this event held in conjunction with the Annual conference. Now you can view these products and services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year in the IACLEA Virtual Exhibition Center.  
     
  2. Campus Law Enforcement Journal
    The Campus Law Enforcement Journal is the voice of the campus law enforcement community. Each bimonthly issue features articles on campus issues, professional training and development programs, updates on trends in law enforcement and Association news.  
     
  3. Government Relations
    IACLEA’s Canadian and U.S.A. Government Relations Committees monitor and interpret legislation that affects you and the entire law enforcement profession. Developed a system of U.S. A. state liaisons. Provides timely legislative updates to members via IACLEA-L, the Campus Law Enforcement Journal and the Web site.
     
  4. International Networking
    Provides you with the opportunity to meet many other experienced campus law enforcement administrators through the Annual Conference and the International Exchange Program. Not only is a membership directory published annually, we now provide an online membership directory that is updated regularly. Your IACLEA colleagues are only a telephone call or email away.

  5. WMD Awareness Training
    This eight hour course, funded by a grant from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, Office of Domestic Preparedness. is designed for all campus public safety personnel who could participate in a response to a WMD incident. Regardless of rank or job title, this course provides important, up to date information on WMD preparedness. There is no fee to attend the training. The curriculum was developed by LSU and IACLEA.

  6. Management Training
    The Executive Development Institute is a program sponsored by the International Association of Campus Law Enforcement Administrators (IACLEA) to train current and newly appointed executives on law enforcement leadership and management topics pertaining to a campus environment. The target audience is managers with the following titles: chief of police, director of public safety, director of security, and command personnel such as captain or assistant director being considered for promotion.
      
  7. Exchange of Ideas
    An association's most valuable asset is its members. IACLEA provides a forum to discuss issues, study new ideas, and solve problems. One of the many services to members are the closed listserv discussion groups that limit participation to IACLEA members.
       
  8. Professional Recognition
    IACLEA’s Annual Awards recognize outstanding performance by individuals or departments of IACLEA Member Institutions. Awards are presented in several categories during a ceremony at the Annual Conference. IACLEA also presents several scholarships annually.  
     
  9. Management Consulting
    The Loaned Executive Management Assistance Program (LEMAP) is a program sponsored by the International Association of Campus Law Enforcement Administrators (IACLEA) for the purpose of providing management consultation and technical assistance to Association members. Upon request, LEMAP provides assistance in improving the administration, management or operations of the agency and may aid in implementing improved practices and techniques. This unique program utilizes the talents and resources of executives from campus law enforcement/security who serve as consultants. We are proud to offer this program and you are invited to use our service.
     
  10. Publications
    IACLEA offers over 15 publications dealing with specific problems or areas of current interest to campus security/public safety/law enforcement at discounted prices to members.The IACLEA Standards Manual is now available to campus public safety departments as a way to compare their practices and procedures to the highest professional standards for campus law enforcement and public safety services. IACLEA Standards apply to both sworn and non-sworn public safety departments for all sizes and types of higher education institutions.
