Chief Roger Stearns, University of Texas Pan American

Chief Stearns has tirelessly worked to improve the performance, efficiency, and image of the University of Texas – Pan American Police Department (UTPA). He has demonstrated the highest commitment to professional development of the individual officers and brought many modern community orientated policing programs to the UTPA. His contributions have been extensive and have exceeded the University's expectation of excellence.  His efforts have led to the improvement of many processes and systems, which have ultimately enhanced customer service as well.
