Sergeant Kevin Gray, The University of Texas Police at Houston - Threat Management UnitM
Sergeant Kevin Gray is a supervisor in the Threat Management Unit (TMU) at the University of Texas Police at Houston (UTPD-H) and is one of the architects of the innovative program. His years of experience as a frontline Police Officer, a Sergeant in Field Operations and Crime Mitigation, an integral member of the MD Anderson and UT Health 2-STOP Violence Prevention/Intervention Committees and mentee of a nationally recognized Threat Management expert has contributed greatly to the success of the TMU Program.
Sergeant Gray is a respected TCOLE instructor and a former member of the University of Texas Police System Police Special Rapid Response Team (SRRT)—a very selective team of highly skilled special response personnel. Sergeant Gray is a member of ATAP, a graduate of the Gavin DeBecker Advanced Threat Assessment Academy, NCIS Threat Assessment & Management and NaBITA. Sergeant Gray holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Lincoln Memorial University.
