Chief Paul Dean, University of New Hampshire
Paul H. Dean is the Chief of Police and Associate Vice President for Public Safety and Risk Management for the University of New Hampshire. Chief Dean is a 36-year veteran of law enforcement and holds a Master’s of Science in Leadership and Bachelor’s of Science with honors in Criminal Justice Management from Granite State College and the Harvard Kennedy School for Executive Education. Chief Dean is a graduate of the 186th Session of the FBI National Academy in Quantico, VA and The Babson College Command Officer Training program in Wellesley, MA.
Terry Branch, Imperial College, London (Incumbent)
Terry Branch joined the security team at Imperial College London, part of Facilities and Property Management (Support Services), in 2001 and was appointed Head of Security in 2008 where he manages a multi-faceted team of approx. 136 officers covering 8 large and diverse campuses. Terry is responsible for the creation and maintenance of a secure, safe environment for students, staff and visitors throughout the College campuses. His remit includes the provision professional Security, Post and Car Parking services. Alongside this, Terry has developed core skills relating to the preparation and control of multiple large budgets and has a proven track record of delivering quality and value for money security services in the HE environment.
Helen Haire, Chief of Police, University of Northern Iowa (Incumbent)
Helen has served as the Chief of Police/Director of Public Safety at the University of Northern Iowa in Cedar Falls, Iowa, since 2012. Prior to taking the position at UNI, she served with the Louisiana State University Police Department for 24 years where she attained the rank of Police Major. She received a Bachelor's degree in History/Political Science from the University of Mississippi and a Master's degree in Criminal Justice from Faulkner University and graduated from the FBI National Academy.
Lewis Eakins, PhD, Ivy Tech Community College (Incumbent)
Lewis Eakins, PhD, CPP has over 35 years of law enforcement, emergency management, and security consulting experience. He is currently the Vice President for Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness at Ivy Tech Community College in Indiana. Prior to his current role, Eakins served as the chief security officer and director of Public Safety at Idaho State University with campuses located in Boise, Idaho Falls, Twin Falls, and the main campus in Pocatello. Lewis was formerly the Chief of Police at Oakwood University in Huntsville, AL; a Captain with the METRO Transit Police in Houston, TX; and the Assistant Chief of Police at Texas Southern University, also in Houston, TX.
