2023 NACCOP Foundations of the Clery Act Class - Virtual
The National Association of Clery Compliance Officers and Professionals (NACCOP) and the International Association of Campus Law Enforcement Administrators (IACLEA) have partnered to offer virtual and in-person Clery Act training classes throughout 2023! Upon completion of the class, attendees will have received the exact same content and material that they would have received in an in-person class and they will receive the exact same certification.
- The NACCOP Foundations of the Clery Act class will provide a basic overview of the requirements of the Clery Act.
- The training is suited for people who are new to the Clery Act as well as those who have previously attended Clery Act training. The curriculum includes new information received from the U.S. Department of Education, based on our questions about the practical application of the regulations and handbook.
- This class is perfect for people who don’t need the DSA Clery Act Compliance Training Academy experience (to learn all of the rules and all of the exceptions to every rule).
- This class is a great opportunity for campuses that are within driving distance to send their supervisory and command staff members to training that will provide them with a good foundation of knowledge in the Clery Act.
