The International Association of Campus Law Enforcement Administrators (IACLEA) announced today that Vistelar has made a three-year commitment as an Association Corporate Partner. Vistelar will offer a range of de-escalation training to IACLEA’s 3,700+ members around the world.

Vistelar is a consulting and training institute focused on addressing the entire spectrum of human conflict at the point of impact—from before an interaction begins through to the consequences of how an interaction is managed. Vistelar experts have trained hundreds of thousands of public safety professionals across all 50 states, several countries, and all levels of government over the past 40 years.

Unlike other de-escalation programs available, Vistelar’s trainings bring unique enhancements such as Non-Escalation, tools for ending an interaction successfully, an emphasis on recognizing and responding to a threat as well as providing physical alternatives.

“Vistelar joins IACLEA at an opportune time,” said IACLEA President David Bousquet, chief of police at Becker College in Worcester, Massachusetts. “IACLEA’s own training program is expanding to better serve our growing membership. Additionally, de-escalation and non-violent conflict resolution tactics are needed more than ever as the tone of campus protest has intensified. We are confident our members will benefit from this partnership.”  

Vistelar will make its in-person and online trainings as well as training manuals available to IACLEA members at a significantly reduced price.
