Strategic Plan Update Is Underway
Mar 26, 2020
The IACLEA Strategic Planning Task Force has begun its work to prepare a new Association Strategic Plan, building on the goals of the previous plan and in sync with the findings of the member needs survey conducted in November 2019. The Task Force will release its findings to the full membership at the Annual Conference & Exposition in June.
The plan will lay out IACLEA’s core purpose and vision and values statements, as well as strategic goals and specific initiatives to achieve those goals. Among the core areas of focus for the new strategic plan will be membership development, education and training, accreditation, and research. The new plan will identify core initiatives in support of strategic goals, while identifying the leaders for such initiatives, to include the board of directors, officers, IACLEA committees, and staff.
The plan will serve as the roadmap for the Board to govern the Association, guiding priorities, program development, and membership expansion, during this period of the Association’s growth. It will also identify timelines, and key performance benchmarks for the Association’s core work and align resources to priority tasks.
Thank you to all Task Force members, who are working with Executive Director John Bernhards on this important endeavor:
