Training Conferences and Meetings

IACLEA’s commitment to training for excellence is on display every day, with a range of training opportunities for members and non-members. In addition to our Distance Learning series of Webinars, we offer local and national trainings.

IACLEA's Annual Conference & Exposition is the largest gathering of campus public safety professionals in the world. Experts from around the globe gather for formal training and informal networking to share solutions to common challenges. Exhibitors with the latest equipment and technology solutions augment the educational program. Learn more about the 2018 Annual Conference in Orlando, Florida, June 29 – July 2, 2018.

The Executive Development Institute (EDI) is designed to train current and newly appointed executives on law enforcement leadership and management topics pertaining to a campus environment. There are few, if any, programs tailored to address the specific demands of a campus environment, and IACLEA is proud to offer this program.

Who Should Attend: Chiefs of police, directors of public safety, directors of security, and command personnel such as captains or assistant directors being considered for promotion. The majority of law enforcement training resources and organizational attention is primarily directed to recruits, and then to supervisory, specialty and in-service training.

The College and University Police Investigators Conference (CUPIC) is presented jointly, for the first time, with IACLEA in 2018. CUPIC, now in its 13th year, is the leading training conference for investigators at institutions of higher education.
