An Institutions of Higher Learning Bombing Prevention and Department of Homeland Security Resources Webinar
PURPOSE: In the wake of the recent nation-wide bomb threats received by colleges and universities, the International Association of Campus Law Enforcement & Administrators (IACLEA), with speakers from the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), is hosting a webinar on bombing prevention and campus public safety resources. This effort will provide greater awareness of and enhance accessibility to the resources DHS has available to all Institutions of Higher Learning (IHLs). This FREE webinar will enable attendees to prevent, protect, and respond to bomb related incidents and other active threats more efficiently and effectively. This webinar will be interactive and allow for Q&A after each speaker.
The discussion will highlight:
- DHS resources available to all IHLs
- The current threat environment
- Areas to strengthen preparedness
- The Non-Profit Security Grant Program (NSGP)
- Information Sharing
TARGET AUDIENCE: IACLEA’s United States-based membership, campus law enforcement, campus public safety officials, emergency managers, state and local law enforcement, and campus administrators.
