2016-17 IACLEA Board Installed At 2016 Annual Conference in Phoenix

The 2016-17 Board of Directors of the International Association of Campus Law Enforcement Administrators, Inc. (IACLEA) was sworn in on June 27 by outgoing President William Taylor, Chief of Police at Collin College in Plano, TX.

Randy Burba, Chief of Public Safety at Chapman University in Orange, CA, was installed as the 2016-17 President. Burbas term will run from July 1, 2016 through June 30, 2017.

David Bousquet, Chief of Police at Becker College in Worcester, MA, was installed for a one-year term as 2016-17 President-elect. Bousquet will automatically ascend to the office of President on July 1, 2017. John Vinson, Chief of Police at the University of Washington in Seattle, WA, was sworn in for a three-year term as Director-at-Large.

Returning Board members include: Jasper Cooke, Director of the Office of Critical Event Preparedness and Response at Augusta University and Medical Center, Vice President for Finance; William Taylor, Immediate Past President; Patricia Patton, Director, Security and Operations, Facilities Management, University of Regina, Canada Region Director; Ray Wheatley, Security Services Manager, Dublin City University, Dublin, Ireland, International Director; Thomas R. Johnson, Director of Safety and Transportation, Missouri State University, Mid-America Region Director; David Tedjeske, Director of Public Safety, Villanova University, Mid-Atlantic Region Director; Adán Tejada, Chief & Director of Public Safety, Saint Mary's College of California, Mountain Pacific Region Director; Jack Moorman, Chief of Police, North Carolina State University, Southeast Region Director; Michael Ragan, Director and Chief of Police, Texas A&M University-College Station, Southwest Region Director; Troy Lane, Associate Vice Chancellor for Public Safety and Chief of Police, University of Tennessee at Knoxville, Director-at-Large; Paul L. Ominsky, Director of Public Safety, Princeton University, Director-at-Large.

Following the Annual Business Meeting on June 27, James Pollard, Chief of Police at Babson College in Babson Park, MA, was sworn in as the North Atlantic Region Director, succeeding Bousquet.

IACLEA is an association that advances campus public safety for its more than 1,100 educational institution members and nearly 2,000 individual members by providing educational resources, advocacy, and professional development services. IACLEA is led by a Board of Directors and managed by a professional staff with headquarters in West Hartford, CT.
