IACLEA Welcomes ShotSpotter’s Renewal of Corporate Partner Agreement

IACLEA announced today that ShotSpotter, the leader in gunshot detection, location, and forensic analysis, has signed on as a Corporate Partner, continuing its partnership with IACLEA, which began in 2017.

“We are grateful to ShotSpotter for continuing their productive collaboration with IACLEA,” said IACLEA President Paul Ominsky, executive director of public safety at Princeton University. “ShotSpotter has made a significant investment to support IACLEA’s strategic initiatives. Gunshots on campus and active shooters are among the threats for which campus public safety agencies prepare. The gunshot detection technology is an innovation beneficial to many.”

“Protecting America’s colleges and universities is an important part of our mission”, said Ralph Clark, President and CEO of ShotSpotter. “The ShotSpotter SecureCampus® solution enables campus security to respond quickly and precisely to outdoor gunshot incidents on or near campus. We are proud to partner with IACLEA to help campuses be better prepared for gun violence.”

Support from IACLEA’s Corporate Partners augments the implementation of the Association’s strategic initiatives, furthers its educational mission, and enhances the ability of campus public safety agencies to protect institutions of higher education.
