Overwhelming factual evidence and testimony, presented before a jury of peers, has delivered due process of law and also justice to the family of George Floyd. This is not the conclusion but rather, the beginning of what must continue:  open, meaningful dialogue and change to end the marginalization of communities,  restore confidence in our institutions, and build trust for the police and public safety profession. 

IACLEA is committed to the values found within higher education and that is embraced within our campus communities.  Those values include the advancement of learning, fostering acceptance and respect for others, and cultivating a community of trust and care.
