IACLEA is pleased to announce that D. Stafford & Associates (DSA) has amended the terms of their corporate partnership to include additional training and cost savings to IACLEA members, effective immediately.

IACLEA Executive Director John Bernhards“Solid and effective training for campus public safety professionals is really paramount to IACLEA’s mission, and we have a lot of pride in the training we offer to our Association members,” said IACLEA Executive Director John Bernhards. “We’re delighted that D. Stafford & Associates values their corporate partnership with us and is offering additional services and cost savings to our members,” he added.

This past spring, DSA announced the launch of a series of classes in its Procedural Justice Training Institute (PJI). All PJI classes are offered virtually, and the classes have been available since May 2021.

Each year moving forward, the initial five classes will be available and DSA is committed to adding a minimum of two new classes into the mix. In 2021, DSA offered several sessions of a 1st Amendment class. The following classes are still available in 2021:

In case the above dates don't work, the 2022 course schedule is available on PJI's website.

D. Stafford & Associates has been providing consulting services to campuses in North America since 1997 and is now in its 10thyear of supporting IACLEA. Stafford, President and CEO of D. Stafford & Associates, is herself a former IACLEA board member and president (2003-2004). “I have a long history with IACLEA and am proud to continue supporting the campus public safety industry that has meant so much to me professionally and personally,” she said.D. How will IACLEA members benefit from these two new courses?

“IACLEA member institutions wishing to participate in any of the individual classes will receive a 10 percent discount when registering for any of the classes available on the website,” Stafford said.

“DSA is also offering individual institutions with an annual subscription option that allows the agency to train all of their command and supervisory level employees under the subscription and at a significant discount. DSA will include a 25 percent discount to any IACLEA member that signs up for a subscription for their agency,” she added.

What differentiates the DSA Procedural Justice Institute classes from training being offered by many of the other organizations and associations serving law enforcement and public safety, is that the DSA classes are designed specifically for college campuses. They are being developed in a manner that makes the content immediately relevant to both sworn and non-sworn agency personnel working in campus police and public safety agencies.IACLEA President Patrick Ogden

“D. Stafford & Associates has been a long-time supporter of IACLEA and is a sponsor of our accreditation program,” said IACLEA President Patrick Ogden. “We are grateful for their collaboration and commitment to campus public safety initiatives,” he added. “We are elated that we can offer additional training and cost savings to our members from DSA in their collaboration with us.”
