The Leading Authority For Campus Public Safety

IACLEA Leadership Institutes

IACLEA Leadership Institutes

As part of its Training Program, IACLEA offers a Leadership Series--with two institutes designed to support current and future leaders achieving excellence. Each will convene in winter 2020, and registration is open.

First-Line Supervisor Institute

January 7-10, 2020, at the University of Houston

The Institute is developed for current and aspiring first-line supervisors. This could include senior officers, mid-level supervisors, corporals, and sergeants. It is a useful course for individuals recently promoted to those positions and a valuable preparatory course for those seeking to advance to supervisory roles.

IACLEA offers the only Institute for first-line public safety and law enforcement supervisors working on college and university campuses.

Registration is open. Courses are deliberately kept small, so please register early.

Executive Development Institute

July 29-31, 2020, at the University of Nevada, Reno

The 3½ day Institute is the only leadership training developed specifically for campus public safety leaders. The 2020 curriculum will include principles of leadership, managing staff, effective communications, accountability, organizational management, and other valuable sessions!

Chiefs and directors: EDI is tailored for you. But it is also a valuable investment in the professional development of standout members of your leadership team. If you cultivate leaders within your agency and want to boost the leadership potential of your most talented staff, then EDI is for those personnel.
